Balayage
Derived from the French word balayer meaning “to sweep”, a term which is used to describe the way the color is applied. This free hand technique allows the lightener or color to be painted onto the surface of the hair to create a gradual, more natural looking highlight effect. Balayage is suitable for all hair types and anyone looking for a low maintenance subtle sun-kissed look.
Foilyage
A technique where lightener is painted onto the hair like Balayage, but placed into a foil to amplify the effect, giving you more brightness. This process is great for people who already have color treated hair and are now looking for a balayage look, or a really dramatic change.
Root Shadow | Root Smudge/ Melt
Root Shadowing is a hair color technique that can deliver a soft seamless contrast where the highlight and natural color meet. By applying hair color to the root area that is 2-3 shades darker than your natural hair, it can help blur out any foil lines, or lines of demarcation. This is for someone looking to dramatically change their look from high maintenance to low.
A Root Smudge is similar to a Root Shadow technique, except that the color is warmer and only 1-2 shades darker than your base color, giving you a more harmonious blend and a more natural, lived-in look.
K18
It’s Biomimetic technology helps repair hair from the inside out. It strengthens, soothes and hydrates heat and color damaged hair by restoring the keratin bonds.
